Day 1

Arrive DELHI

Upon, arrival, meet and greet and transfer to hotel.

 

Overnight stay at Hotel 

Day 2

DELHI - BIKANER BY OVRNIGHT TRAIN

Breakfast at Hotel.

 

Full day city sightseeing of Delhi.

 

Morning: Sightseeing Tour of Old Delhi. Visit Jama Masjid - Is the largest mosque in India. The Jama Masjid stands across the road in front of the Red Fort.

 

Enjoy a Rickshaw ride in Chandni Chowk - The bustling and colorful market of the old city.

 

After that continue drive to central Delhi & Photo stop at India Gate - Bears immense historical significance. A 42 meter high gateway built in red stone and granite the India Gate was planned by Sir Edwin Lutyens the architect who laid out the plan for Delhi. Presidents House or “Rashtrapati Bhawan” - During the famous Delhi Durbar of the 1911 A.D. it was decided that the capital of India would be shifted from Calcutta to Delhi. King George V himself made the announcement regarding the same.

 

Afternoon: Sightseeing tour of New Delhi.  Visit Humayun Tomb - The tomb of Humayun was built by the orders of Hamida Banu Begum, Humayun's widow, starting in 1562. It took 8 years to build and had a Chahr Bagh Garden style in its design, the first of its kind in the region And Qutub Minar - Inspired by the Minaret of Jam in Afghanistan and wishing to surpass it, Qutub-ud-din Aibak, the first Muslim ruler of Delhi, commenced construction of the Qutub Minar in 1193, but could only complete its basement.

 

Late evening transfer to railway Station in time to board your train to Bikaner. Scheduled departure of your train from Delhi Sarai Rohilla is at 2335 hrs.

Day 3

ARRIVE BIKANER

0730 hrs Arrive at Bikaner. You will be met on arrival and transfer to hotel. After that breakfast at hotel (Check In time 13h00 – Early check in subject to availability)

 

After that visit the famous Junagarh Fort. The Fort was built by Raja Raj Singh, the sixth ruler of Bikaner who reigned from 1517 to 1612. During his Imperial service he travelled extensively, giving him an appreciation of art and architecture. These ideas have been incorporated meticulously into the architectural style of Junagarh Fort.

 

Also visit Bhandasar Jain temple –temple considered to be the most beautiful and also the highest – is mainly famous for wall paintings and usta art. The temple is built in red sandstone and is divided in three floors.

         

You can also do the Auto rickshaw ride in Old Bazaar to experience local culture.

Day 4

BIKANER – JAISALMER (By Surface -335 Kms / Approx 6 Hr)

Breakfast at hotel.

 

Later drive to Jaisalmer, upon arrival, check-in at hotel.

 

Afternoon visit to the Jaisalmer Fort which is a citadel and people live inside the four walls of this fortification you can take interesting walk around the fort.

 

Later visit the Patwon-Ki Haveli, one of the largest Havelis (House of Nobility) of the city, & Nathmal Ji Ki Haveli.

Day 5

JAISALMER – JODHPUR (By Surface -285 Kms / Approx 6 Hr)

Breakfast at hotel.

 

After that continue drive to Jodhpur, Upon arrival check in at hotel.

 

After that visit the Magnificent Fort of Mehrangarh - One of the colossal and majestic forts of India is located atop a 150 m elevated hill, was built by Rao Jodha in 1459 when he transferred his capital from Mandore. Subsequently more additions were made by the other rulers of Jodhpur with passing time.  

 

And you can visit Jaswant Thada – It is royal cenotaph made up of white marble. It was built to commemorate Maharaja Jaswant Singh.

 

Evening: visit the Local bazaar (Market) area of Jodhpur at the Clock Tower (Ghanta Ghar) which has kept alive the old haat bazaar culture called Sardar Market lies bang in the city centre.

Day 6

JODHPUR - JAIPUR (By Surface -345 Kms / Approx 6 Hr)

Breakfast at hotel.

 

After that, continue by surface to Jaipur, Upon arrival, check-in at hotel.

 

Afternoon day is at leisure or visit Local Bazaar for Shopping

 

Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 7

JAIPUR

Breakfast at hotel.

 

Morning: Excursion to Amber Fort. The best part of this tourist attraction situated on a crafty hill, is the royal Elephant ride to ascend the fort (Elephant ride is subject to availability of Elephants or else by jeep).  

 

Photo stop at Hawa Mahal (Wind Palace) for photography. Is a remarkable, five-storey, delicately honeycombed, pink sandstone structure.  

 

Later visit to the City Palace – Located in the heart of the walled city, The Palace Complex gives you an idea about the farsightedness of the founder of Jaipur Sawai Jai Singh.

 

Observatory – One of the five observatories in India. Built by Sawai Jai Singh, this is one of the largest and the best preserved.

 

Evening visit Local Bazaar for Shopping

 

Overnight stay at the hotel.  

Day 8

JAIPUR - AGRA – By surface (235 Kms / 05 Hrs 40 Minute)

Breakfast at Hotel.

 

After that, continue by surface to Agra, en-route visiting Fatehpur Sikri - An epic in red sandstone; a city of yesteryears today lost in the mists of time. Fatehpur Sikri was built by the Mughal Emperor Akbar during 1564 A.D.

 

After the sightseeing of Fatehpur Sikri, continue by Surface to Agra. Upon arrival, check-in at your Hotel.

 

Afternoon: visit Agra Fort - situated on the banks of the river Yamuna.  

 

Later, enjoy the sunset visit to incomparable Taj Mahal. The world's greatest monument to love and devotion. Built by the emperor Shah Jehan for his favorite wife Mumtaz, its perfect proportions and exquisite craftsmanship took 20,000 workers almost 22 years to complete in 1653.   (Taj Mahal remains closed to public on  Fridays).

 

Overnight at the Hotel.  

Day 9

AGRA - JHANSI – By train (08h17/10h48) JHANSI – KHAJURAHO – By surface (180 Kms / 04 Hrs)

Early breakfast at Hotel.

 

Later, transfer to Agra Cantt Railway Station in time to board your train to Jhansi.

 

Upon arrival, you will be met (Please wait for our representative outside your wagon/compartment, who will escort you to your car and driver). Later, continue by road to Khajuraho, en-route visiting Orchha – Visit The Ram Raja Temple and Jehangir Mahal.

 

Later, continue drive to Khajuraho, Upon arrival, check-in at your Hotel.

 

Evening:  You can enjoy the Sound & Light show on the Western Group of temples complex.  

 

Overnight stay at the Hotel.  

Day 10

KHAJURAHO / VARANASI – By flight

Breakfast at Hotel.

 

Morning: Visit the magnificent Temples at Khajuraho

 

Later, transfer to airport in time to board your flight for Varanasi. Upon arrival assistance and transfer to your Hotel.

 

Evening: rickshaw ride to the main ghat to witness the Deepmala ceremony – you can also offer your prayer to Goddess Ganga or can participate in the Aarti ceremony.

 

Overnight stay at the Hotel. 

Day 11

VARANASI

Early morning: Take a boat ride to witness different activities taking place on the Ghat.  

 

After that return to hotel for Breakfast.

 

After that proceed for sightseeing tour of Varanasi :: visit to Kashi Vishwnath Temple (From outside) , Durga Mata Temple (From outside), Sankotmochan Temple:

 

Afternoon: Excursion to Sarnath (Sarnath museum is closed to public on Mondays).

 

Overnight stay at the Hotel.

Day 12

VARANASI / DELHI – By Flight

Breakfast at Hotel.

 

Later, transfer to airport in time to board your flight for Delhi. Upon arrival, assistance  and transfer to your Hotel/ Restaurant for Refreshment

 

Later, in time assistance & departure transfer to airport to board the flight for onward destination.
